Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios has been announced to be featuring at this year’s ATP 500 Queen’s.
Kyrgios, who was a participant at the event the last 2 years, is set to make his third straight appearance at the Aegon Championships. He has yet to win a singles match at the Queens Club — he lost in the opening-round to Stan Wawrinka two years ago and to Milos Raonic last year.
The 21-year-old looks forward to the tournament as he is eyeing to leave his mark on grass this season.
‘I’m real excited and pumped to be coming back to Queen’s,” Kyrgios said following the announcement. “It’s a great tournament, with Wimbledon soon after, and I love playing on grass. It suits my game a lot and I’m expecting big things on grass this year.’
The Australian has joined the likes of Andy Murray, Rafa Nadal, Stan Wawrinka, Milos Raonic and Grigor Dimitirov in the tournament lineup. The Aegon Championships held at the Queen’s Club is scheduled to be played from 19th to 25th June.
